Mbuyi Jongqo • Heart of Cooktastic • On Roadshow in Europe

She is Mama Cooktastic for several hundred of our graduates. Since the launch of Cooktastic (03/2020), for the very first time Mbuyi visits Austria, – the country that´s been a strong supporter from the start – and now welcomed her like a best friend.

14 days on the road – together with her Austrian counterpart Brigitte Sachs-Schaffer –numerous meetings, with an overwhelming resonance. A firework of community vibes, deep gratitude and powerful impact – showing how donations and support from Austria are changing lives in South Africa. Finally, Mbuyi negotiated a further 3 years contract with our valued supporter in  Liechtenstein, the Maria Marina Foundation.

All this is literally Future for the next hundreds of Cooktastic students!

And, it was also a door opener for new partnerships in terms of a promising Exchange Program in both directions:

SA-> A: Cooktastic graduates, as welcomed skilled Junior Chefs for the Austrian hospitality

A-> SA: Austrian apprentices and volonteers gaining culinary and intercultural  experience in Cape Town.

CHUMANI -Let´s thrive ! All.
